The Perfect Product

Is there such a thing as the perfect product?

I doubt it.

However, when you are inventing a product there are a few things you want to keep in mind. Keep it simple. The less "stuff" on it the better = less that will break and less to figure out for the consumer.

Keep the materials as inexpensive as possible and your manufacturing costs will thank you later. 

I once heard a very successful inventor speak at the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Philadelphia. He is the inventor of the Scrub Daddy. He talked about how and why his product became so successful. First of all, everyone has a need for it. The next reason being, it is easy to use and inexpensive to produce. You could say he created the "perfect product" for all these reasons.

Starting a business still requires a ton of effort, the right steps, funding and lots of tenacity. He knew he had something everyone would want and he was right!
